Central Florida Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Number 1 is an outgrowth of the dividing of Central Florida Third Jurisdiction, after the death of Bishop C.D. Kinsey. The other Jurisdiction being Central Florida Jurisdiction Number 2.
The headquarters for our Jurisdiction is Cathedral of Faith Church of God in Christ, at 2591 West Beaver Street in Jacksonville, Florida, the church where Bishop Kinsey was the pastor.
With the central theme being “Can Do,” Bishop Dixon believes he is enabled to carry out the mandate of our Lord in moving this body forward in the direction laid out by our Savior Jesus Christ.
Each February, the Jurisdiction participates in a month-long fast as we commit ourselves to the move of God in a mighty way. We believe God honors our efforts, and rewards accordingly. With our aim being “a move and attitude of Evangelism” we believe it is necessary to fast as never before in an effort to gain the strength, and spiritual guidance, as we seek to evangelize lost of the world in times like this. We invite others to join in with us in this most worthy cause.
